The Awesomeness that is Fiona Glennane

I watch a lot of TV. Probably more than I should. But they just keep making these great shows and I get hooked. But I'm going to focus on the "crime-fighting" shows that I watch. Or the "murder mystery" ones. I don't know what they are exactly. Anyway, it seems like lately lots of characters are anti-gun. It's kind of sweet in a way. For example: Mr. Monk from Monk doesn't carry a gun; Shawn Spencer from Psych-I don't think I've ever seen him hold a gun except to take it away from someone. He for sure doesn't carry one; Patrick Jane from The Mentalist definitely doesn't like guns. Even though he fires one at the end of the season one finale. So it's somewhat common for characters to not really like guns, right? Which is what makes the character Fiona from Burn Notice so incredibly refreshing and delightful. She is the poster girl for the NRA. As Michael Westen describes her in the opening credits, she is "trigger happy." Fiona is just awesome. She would rather shoot first and ask questions later. She's feisty and, dang I'm gonna say it again, she's AWESOME! If you haven't watched Burn Notice, check it out.
